    Given the choice between clean air and slightly more value for shareholders, I think the choice is obvious.

    Between this and polluted food, soil, and water, I’m fairly certain virtually no one is living a pollution free life anymore.

      in northern finland we have clean air but it’s so dry during cold winter days that my nose bleeds, most of my skin itches like crazy, my hands barely have any skin left, and i can’t keep my eyes open because it feels like someone is blowing at them

    Much of that is on us, but sometimes it’s just the planet doing its thing. I’m in southern Ohio and in recent history we’ve had a bunch of smoke from fires in Canada. A few days ago my car got covered in dirt that apparently came in a weather system from Texas. Neither event was anywhere close to me, but I have breathing problems already, so I always know when the air is worse than usual. I’ve been through volcanic eruptions and even just regular pollen seasons get me all messed up. I don’t currently live in a dense city area, but I have. And city pollution affects me less than most of these other events. Maybe I’ve just adapted to it.
