I’ve tried (and failed) 2 times to self host it. I need a hosted service I can rely on, and I need it to be privacy oriented.

This suite uses Open Exchange, which does not fully support all iCalendar modules.
I’m looking for a interoperable, standards based, fully compliant suite.
There’s no FOSS app that does this unfortunately.
Not FOSS though

As closed source as it can get.
Swayze, Stewart or from Bikini Bottom?
I installed Aurora onto an m2 caddy. Works like a charm.
Great project, but they use Google Ads and Google Analytics.
Get a 2nd drive to install it on. Dual booting will only cause you trouble and headaches. For example, if you manage to fix it, next update it will break again.

But if you don’t have a Traccar server anywhere, how is it any better than the location history already present in HA ?
I actually prefer Dawarich, but I went with Traccar in hopes of an easy integration, which is not being the case for me at all. Dawarich, having real routes is much more attractive. Did you integrate Traccar or Dawarich with HA ? How ? Did you expose Traccar or Dawarich to the web?
I hope it gets published to fdroid.
