minus-squareraverlinkfedilinkarrow-up3·edit-21 month agoFirst it is reinventing the wheel, xmpp exists for a very long time, second there are only a few server implementations, third the resource consumption of them is so high that you can’t really run it reliably on a raspberry pi for your family
